AHP HOME HEALTH CARE, INC. HONORS ITS LATE FOUNDER WITH A
FORGET-ME-NOT CELEBRATION

JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 10, 2019 — AHP Home Health Care, Inc. announces the celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the passing its founder, Janice L. Austin. The event also marks the 10th year since Charlene L. Austin, the sister of Janice Austin, stepped in as CEO to continue and secure her sister’s legacy. AHP Home Health Care, Inc. (Advanced Healthcare Professionals) was the first home healthcare business on Jacksonville’s Northside-in 1995. Ms. Janice L. Austin began the agency as a response to serve an ever-growing population of persons living with HIV and AIDS, and to be in position for neighborhoods where the need for adequate home healthcare was often neglected. She was featured as an unsung hero and her work was admired by many. Ms. Austin served her patients, staff, community, and city with passion and zeal until her battle with rectal colon cancer ended June 20, 2009.

Since then, Charlene L. Austin has reigned and continued her sister’s legacy. “The last ten years have been an exciting venture as the company has flourished, despite some very murky times,” said Charlene Austin. “What a roller coaster ride it has been. This company has become more than I could have ever Imagined, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.”

Over the last decade, with the combination of excellent people, quality service, and the continued support of residents and businesses, AHP Home Health Care, Inc has firmly established itself in the Northside community. In celebration of this success and to keep Janice Austin’s memory alive, AHP Home Health Care, Inc. is throwing a FORGET-ME-NOT ten-year celebration this Saturday, July 13th from 1:00-5:00. The community Is welcome to attend.
