Local Doctor pillar of community retire.
Dr. Reginald Leroy Sykes Sr. is officially retiring after 35 years of service. He is a Northside native of magnolia gardens, attended Raines high school. He went on to FSU and completed his medical degree at Meharry Medical College. Completed residency at Harlem Hospital before returning home to serve his community. He’s a member of Kappa Alpha Psi and the National Medical Association. Member of St. Stephen AME church. Married to Tujuana Sykes for 27 years father of 4, grandfather of 5. He has worked for Shands hospital, St. Vincent’s medical center , Private Practice and Family Care Partners. Dr. Sykes also worked as Medical Director for Harts Harbor, Eartha White, lakeside Nursing Home also Step by Step Mental Health Services and Central Counseling Drug/ Alcohol Services . Dr. Sykes volunteered over 10 years as team physician for Ribault Sr. High school , volunteer physician at Bob Hayes track and field. Dr. Reginald Sykes is truly dedicated to his family and serving the community.
